Since 1986, ERRChina has placed experienced Western educators at universities, high schools, middle schools, and other institutions throughout Mainland China for anywhere from two weeks to 10 years. We work closely with our broad network of strategic partners to pair our University and Summer Teaching Program applicants with the best fit for them. Some of our long-term applicants request to teach at multiple universities in different provinces, so they can experience more of China and enjoy a broader immersion experiences.

UNIVERSITY TEACHING PROGRAM (UTP) OPENING: English Teacher in Mainland China (More opportunities opening up now)

SUBJECT: Business English, English for humanities majors, Public Speaking

LEVEL: University undergraduate

LOCATION: Mainland China, Beijing

BEGINS: July 1 to 25 for 4 weeks

JOB DESCRIPTION: We need teachers to fill undergraduate student course teaching positions at a university in Beijing for the upcoming 2024 summer session.

PAY: 500RMB x 16 hours per week for 4 weeks (teaching MTWTh). 500RMB x 16 hours x 4 weeks = 32,000RMB; after tax net will be 25,600RMB = $3,555US (@exchange rate 7.2)

Free fully-furnished apartment, meal card, internet and some domestic trips provided by the host institution.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT: Teaching experience, Master degree (minimum), under 70 years of age. Willing to join ERRChina as summer field partner, $500. Need to apply for an F visa for $80 and pay for own international travel. Application Deadline: May 15, 2024 (early acceptance may benefit by better airfare costs!)
