Join ERRC on a journey to see God’s hand at work in China – this exploration walks through China’s modern cities, fellowships with ERRC Christian teachers on leading university campuses, worships alongside Chinese Christians in open churches, visits historic missions landmarks. ERRC Founding President, Martha Chan, with 20 years experience in China, will enrich your understanding of modern Chinese society, the church and the role of Westerners in China today. |

Day 1 West Coast - Beijing
Board your transpacific flight to Beijing.
Day 2-4 Beijing
Upon arrival in Beijing, China's capital, you will be greeted by ERRC field partners teaching at China’s most prestigious educational institutions,
There will also be opportunity to meet with Chinese Christian scholars.
Also available: sight-seeing trips for the Great Wall,
summer palace, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, shopping, etc.
Day 4-6 Taian
Tai’an is located at the foot of Mount Tai, first of the five sacred mountains in China. A place that Chinese emperors came to visit and worship God. A thriving community of ERRC teachers would welcome your interactions with their students.
For those who like to hike, there will be time to do so
Day 7-9 Jinan
Just a short distance from Taian, Jinan is known as “City of Springs.” Underground streams from Mount Tai flow along the limestone strata to Jinan. Staying at the campus guesthouse gives opportunity to observe a foreign faculty member’s life. Worship in Jinan open church Sunday morning and lunch with students after church.
Evening fellowship with international Christians in the campus
Jinan bears much missionary history, and we will visit an old Christian University campus and a Catholic cathedral. If possible, we will visit
the Religious Studies Department.
Day 9-11 Wuhan
Known as the "thoroughfare of nine provinces"; Wuhan, a major transportation hub, is a city of three cities containing dozens of railways, roads and expressways passing through the city.
Residing at a leading university, visit Chinese and western Christian friends and learn more about the ministry opportunities.
Visiting a semiconductor factory founded by a Christian brother. ERRC Field Associates are teaching Chinese and international students in the company school.
Day 11-13 Kunming
Kunming, a city is often called the "Spring City" or "City of Eternal Spring" because of its year-round temperate climate. It is the capital of Yunnan province.
Experience life in beautiful Kunming with ERRC teachers’ families. The families live on the school campus outside the city. Attending Sunday’s International Fellowship on Sunday gives opportunity to meet various groups ministering in Kunming.
Day 14 Guangzhou
Formerly known as Canton, Guangzhou is a port on the Pearl River, and is located about 75 miles northwest of Hong Kong. It was the first port opened to the West. Meet a scientist teaching with ERRC here and stay in the campus.
Day 15 Guangzhou – West Coast
Your final moments in Guangzhou may offer an opportunity to pursue more Chinese modern history on an optional tour to Shamian, or pick up last minute souvenirs in this shopping rich city before boarding your transpacific flight.
