Religious studies programs in leading universities in China are now requesting teachers
Locations:
Beijing, Jinan, Guangzhou
Courses suggested to be taught:
Bible Survey, Christian philosophy, Christian ethics, Hebrew, Christian
art, Christian literature, biblical anthropology, philosophy of
religion, comparative religions
Compensation:
Monthly stipends for some arrangements; free room and housing on campus; international
travel reimbursed in some arrangements
Working Conditions:
Small class size or large lecture; design your own curriculum; 8-10 hours a week
of teaching
Qualifications:
M.A., M.Div, or Ph.D. degrees and teaching experience for the specific course; excellent
health; good interpersonal relationship skills; cross-cultural interest
and sensitivity
Commitment:
One month minimum, one semester preferable.
Position application time:
Six months prior to teaching assignment.
