Short-Term Professional Teaching
Since 1992, ERRC’s professionals have taught or lectured on the stock market, real estate, textile design, banking, accounting, management, marketing, risk management, juvenile delinquency and public policy. More education is needed in insurance, business law, finance, economics, production upgrading, strategic planning, and communications, etc.
All positions are in the major cities and leading universities, mainly along China’s eastern coastline. Program commitments are two to eight weeks to teach an intensive course in a university. Students are business major undergraduates, graduate students, faculty members, or executives of commercial enterprises. Classes range from small groups of 20 to large groups of 50. Host institute will provide furnished housing on the university campus. Reimbursement for international airfare and stipends are negotiated by ERRC.
Because this program is customized to the candidates’ department of interest and the needs of the Chinese host institutions, some placement and negotiation time are required.
Applicants should meet the following criteria to respond:
Hold a MA/MBA, PhD, DBA, JD or other advanced degree in subject of interest and 5 years of relevant experience. Candidates will be teaching from a Christian perspective and thus should be mature Christians in excellent health with good interpersonal skills, as well as fluent English speakers.
All applicants must also be willing to join the ERRC Team which involves a minimal financial commitment to ERRC. This Partnership Fund covers the expenses of the placement negotiations with Chinese hosts institutions. Since host institutions provide housing as well as some monetary compensation, financial obligations are minimal. ERRC is committed to helping each teacher identify a sending team that often is delighted to help fund outgoing expenses. Singles, couples and families are welcome to apply.
